2024 Summer Horse Camp!

SSE offers three summer camp sessions for children (5+) of all levels; no prior experience is needed. Campers will learn all aspects of horsemanship while enjoying arts and crafts, fun and games, care and grooming, riding lessons, and more. We welcome and encourage adults to join in the fun too! • SESSION 1: June 24th-June 28th
• SESSION 2: July 22nd-July 26th
• SESSION 3: August 19th-23rd
• 9 AM – 2 PM Daily
• Extended hours are available with prior arrangements for $25 per hour per child.
$650 per week
$150 for a single day
All sessions must be paid in advance. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, so in the case that your child is unable to attend due to injury or illness, your credit may be applied toward another session or toward riding lessons. Credit must be used within 30 days from the date of purchase. We do not issue refunds. Please call, text, or email to secure your spot.
Sample Daily Schedule:
9:00a Check-in
9:15a Grooming for the morning lesson
10:00a Morning Lesson
11:30 Lecture/Demonstration/Activity on riding or horsemanship
12:00p Lunch
12:30 Afternoon Mounted Activity: lunge lessons, trail lessons, or games
1:45 Horse feeding, tack cleaning, etc.
2:00p Check-out
This is a sample schedule. Activities and times may vary.
Please send a sack lunch with a few extra snacks, lots of water, and sunscreen. We have a refrigerator and microwave at the barn. A vending machine is on the property right next to the main barn office.
